Bill Caruso

Head of Archer's Cannabis Law Group

Bill Caruso is a long-time public policy adviser and founding member of the New Jersey United for Marijuana Reform steering committee and a board member for the New Jersey Cannabis Industry Association. Bill also leads Archer Law’s Cannabis Law Group, representing clients in the cannabis industry, including retailers, processors, growers and ancillary businesses. There, he leads a team of attorneys who provide guidance on marijuana-related business issues, including strategic planning and transactions, employment law, land use, zoning and municipal law, and healthcare law. Bill is part of a select group of attorneys chosen to advise the State of New Jersey on the intricacies of marijuana legalization, taxation and regulation. Prior to joining Archer, Bill served nearly five years as the Executive Director of the New Jersey Assembly Majority Office in Trenton. Prior to taking the Assembly post, Mr. Caruso served for more than 11 years as Chief of Staff for U.S. Rep. Andrews.
